Phone Number + A2P Registration

Update Your Business Information

Step 1

Go To Phone Settings Page

Starting at the Dashboard...

  • Far bottom left corner, click on "Settings"

  • Top right, click on "Phone Numbers"

Go to next step below...

Step 2

Purchase a marketing / tracking number

This is REQUIRED in order to use the phone and text messaging features

Upper right, click on "Add Number"

Click on "Add Phone Number"

In popup, click the "Filter" button

In the "Search by digit or phrases" field

Enter your local area code only

Set "Match To" to 'First part of number'

Click "Apply"

Scroll through numbers and find one you want

Click on it to select it

  • Click the BLUE "Proceed to Buy" button

Step 3

Edit Phone Number Settings

To the right of the phone number, click the vertical 3 dots (options) and click on

"Edit Configuration"

In the field "Forward Calls To", enter the phone number where you want phone calls to be sent to for answering (usually your main business phone number)

Edit any additional settings as needed

  • Click the BLUE "Save" button

Step 4

A2P Registration

This is REQUIRED by the Telecomm companies in order to send text messages

From the Phone Numbers page, at top, click on the "Trust Center"

Scroll down, click on "Start Registering Now"

Fill out the form based on your business setup

Clicking "Continue" to go to the next step

There will be a small fee to register, agree to purchase to proceed

You will be asked to fill in some text fields to describe your text campaigns - you can use the following templates or change them as needed. Change the information in brackets.

Use Case Description

This campaign sends appointment information including confirmations and reminders after a customer has booked an appointment with [company name] through the website, social media, or phone and they have opted in to receive messages from [company name].

Customers optin to messaging by filling out a form and checking a box to receive messages on company website or landing pages like this one: [website URL]
